is it just me but the block hinge thread it too large for the cupola thread it’s supposed to go into?

What is the best solution ?

Thanks in advance.

It may be a one off, when you say to large do you mean tight or the wrong diameter thread Andy?

Thanks Phil, the thread on the cupola is M4 but the hinge block is more a M5 size with a coarser thread. My only solution is to try and file the hinge block thread down to accept a M4 dia, which I think is going to be the only solution. Andy

By the way your build is fantastic there is no way I can even come close but I am managing to carryout some of the modifications you have done.

Hello Andy
I have just checked mine and hinge lug ES0441 is threaded M5 and the hatch ring ES0439 is tapped M5 so no problems there, are you sure you are assembling everything correctly ?
If all else fails just run a M5 tap through.

Steve

Phil, I will do that. The diameter on the cupola is definitely smaller than the hinge block. Thanks Again. Andy
