I asked for a quote on several options before and I received an estimate of the options in an official email from Armortek on October 1st and ordered them right away.
I guess ARMORTEK has made tremendous development and improvements in the short term.
According to Monique's message, they sent it on December 4 and the exact delivery date will not be known until after the weekend due to the current bad weather conditions and strikes by UPS workers in Korea.
I think the options weigh about 17.5Kg.

Just a moment ago, my wife's message arrived that the option pack for Chieftain had arrived well.
I'm having dinner with my co-workers after work today, so I think I'll have an unboxing session on Wednesday, tomorrow evening.

Everything is going well.

I installed the main drive motor in the option pack today.
It was relatively easy to install after applying dry lubricant and attaching the bush.
And I tried to install the turret turn motor, but I stopped working.
I couldn't understand how to attach a fixed bracket to each other and found a difference in diameter between them in the connection between the motor shaft and the gear.
So the motor shaft diameter is small and the internal diameter of the gears is big, so it's hard to match the concentricity.
I should ask for a photo or a way to refer to Kian on this matter.

Unfortunately we shipped the wrong motor with the initial option packs. A new motor (and email) is already on its way to all those impacted.

I started making Chieftain again because I finished most of my busy year-end schedule.
First, I bound a flysky i6x 10-channel transmitter and receiver that remain at home.
The mode of the transmitter has been adjusted for spring and mode 2 from mode 1.
And I've got channel 1 and 2 on the transmitter elevon enabled, mixed values +100%, and both channels have failed-safe as well. Then, I tested the motion by placing the receiver on the power module of the Armortek and the voltage converter for the recoil and installing the servo on the receiver channel 1 and 2.
After moving the stick of the transmitter at any value, I first checked that the fail-safe was working and that the reaction of the elevon mixing was working properly.
And I installed a smoke option pack.
Connection fittings were used only by sockets and elbow and 15A PVC tube, and these parts were purchased separately from hardware store near the house.
The cable ties and the two-sided tape and Velcro tapes were used to clean and fix the wires.

I took Chris' advice in the morning and glued the main gear bush to the housing cover and completed my Chieftain maiden trip safely a while ago.
For me, today is the historic moment when I set up the transceiver and the tank for the first time with my Chieftain.^^

What I can answer to your question is "The way is the same."
It looks the same when you see a number of balls on the side that facilitate driving, and it's easy to rotate under heavy loads.
I made a wooden pedestal on top of Lazy Susan to fix the chieftain and sometimes spin around, and the turret that Chang attached as an example of a question can also spin a heavy turret.
The turretting and turretting blades are separated.
I hope my answer will be of help to you though it is insufficient.

I performed RC for the first time today, drove my Chieftain tank for the first time, and made YouTube video for the first time. It's a meaningful day.

My heart was in my mouth Youngjae, put some old carpet on your ramps, give the tank track something to grip....nevertheless really enjoyed your build and especially the video, well done young man ....Mick
