Many thanks guys much appreciated. We are awaiting the engine deck grills and the near side sprocket but other than that she's all done, the tracks are still a bit tight but will settle as will the suspension. I did forget to fit the lovely stab antenna for the photos. The running trials went well, she's now on single stick control, what a performance to set that up using the Spektrum DX6e , the knowledge base was very helpful, if your new to the hobby I doubt that you could set it up without it but there's so many tx tweaks to get it to work ( and you have to use aux1 channel, not the gear channel ) it's still a mine field! 8

Hi Phil
That looks the dogs danglies now it’s done, wasn’t sure about the winter camo at first but now it’s complete everything blends into a very convincing replica. Your customer should be very happy with his new Tiger.
Regards
Steve

The level of detail you have added to the model makes it more realistic, I have always been a fan of " through the hatch" detail this changes it from a model to a scale replica in my opinion, well done.

Thanks Phil, glad the Knowledge Base was a help. Always good to get feedback. It does need updating but unless there's positive feedback it hardly seems worth the effort. Great model and enjoyed reading your blog.

Wonderful Build Phil :!:

Fantastic detail. But also fantastic because it actually works, moves and lives.

As an engineer, I appreciate models that do what the original was designed to do.

Static's are great, if you want a snapshot.

If you can achieve self propelled and static detail, well, that's a step up.......... my opinion. 8)

and it's all here.

There's No swinging rusty buckets here either

Thanks guys you are the judge and jury and i'm happy with the verdict, I was a bit unsure of the winter camo request mainly as I have seen some very unconvincing examples and never applied white wash to this extent before but i'm very happy with the end result! 8)
Thanks to Phil ( the boss) for asking me to build the Tiger, for me and him it's been a huge amount of work in a relatively short space of time but it's been a pleasure indeed.
I believe he has a RR armoured car that is next on the list for me, that should be something different! 8) That Chieftain is calling right now!

Installed the engine deck grills and fitted the nr side sprocket, nearly all done just a few hand tools to paint and weather and place in the tool boxes, unit marking for the glasis plate , oh and an antifreeze drum to place somewhere. Then the boss can come fetch her 8)
