Radio Systems - setting up a Spektrum DX6 for Single Stick driving and 3 position switch

The following steps will enable you to :
1. Set up the transmitter for SINGLE stick driving (i.e controlling the drive of both tracks from the right stick)
2. Set up a three position switch to operate the sound card

This guide assumes that you have already bound the Transmitter and Receiver together. If you have not done this, then do this first.

First we set up single stick driving:

1. Access the FUNCTIONS MENU (by clicking on the roller on the right)

2. Scroll down to the bottom and select SYSTEMS SETUP

3. Select YES

4. Select MODEL TYPE

5.Select AIRCRAFT

6. Select AIRCRAFT TYPE

7.Select Wing Type =Elevon and Tail Type = Normal
This selection will Mix the right stick channels and you will be able drive the vehicle on one stick.

Now to set up the 3 position switch:

1. Whilst you are still in the SYSTEMS SETUP menu,select CHANNEL ASSIGN

2. Select Next

3. Scroll to the GEAR Channel and change the letter to B

4. The GEAR Channel on the transmitter is now assigned to 3 Position Switch B on the transmitter.
