Field Of Armor

Post by Allan Shannon »

Guys

Is FOA still trading or are they shut for a long holiday? I have been waiting for my order from them for over a month now. All it states is that my order is 'still awaiting fulfilment'. I have sent numerous emails and not one reply. This is very frustrating. If anyone knows someone who works their let them know of this post please.

I have had orders from them before and had not issue but this is really concerning me.

ManyThanks Allan

I have been waiting for Flak88 cables for 4 months now. According to their website they are expanding their range of kits and detailing parts. Is it Loic you are emailing?

I have been emailing the two website addresses and posted on Facebook. What do toy mean Loic? It is just infuriating that they do not reply.

Thanks for the response.

Allan, I ordered a part from them on the 17th of last month. It was shipped two or three days later and I should be getting it today.

My recent experience of emailing them is that I never got a reply.

earlier this year I ordered their grant/Lee Tow Shackles but didn't receive them in what I thought was a reasonable time.
I contacted them and received a reply stating that Pay Pal was not telling them that payment had been made so that may be the problem.

As compensation they did include the hull twin machine gun mount. Perhaps if you persist in contacting them you will get a result and possibly a sweetner?

Allan,

Loic is the chap that owns FOA. It seems he never answers his emails. Aaron, who works for Loic normally answers promptly but even he is not answering emails at the moment.

And I've been waiting several years for parts to my King Tiger kit. Major parts. If anyone wants details pm me and I'll be happy to provide them. I and others will never do business with that company again, Amortek, only if you please.

Allan,

I see that we are already communicating on FB FOA Messenger, but since you posted on the Armortek forum, I'll answer there too

Aaron is a part-time employee and he is the one dealing with FOA orders. Your order includes three fairly simple accessories, so I will have to check with him why this has not been shipped yet. He is a student at a local university. He has mid-terms currently but will be in all day tomorrow. He is back-logged on orders, especially after FOA's release of the Flak 88

As for your email, I searched your email Allan#####@aol.com and did not find ANY in Outlook. AOL can be a tricky provider, I know AOL filters our Newsletters. When you posted on FB Messenger, you got an answer in 37 min. FOA is a small company and we try our best to service our valued customers

FOA is currently hiring more people, but because Utah unemployment is 2.8%, it makes it difficult to find conscientious and affordable employees - Maybe if Mr. Trump would allow a few foreign nationals to trickle in... (Just kidding! - I'm expecting an inflation of prices, as young kids out of High School now want $15/hr with no skills). We also secured a 'deal' with our laser cutter who is just TOO SLOW in processing our orders (70 days on last order). We are working to smooth these issues.

Let's keep the "Dream Alive"

Cheers from Utah,
Loic

Loic
I'm still waiting for my parts for my King Tiger. How many years has it been since we talked? I've called you many times, you kept saying next week the cutter will be ready to cut the wood bottom to the turret and other such wording. I have emailed you, talked to you and I'm still waiting.
WHERE are my parts? You were paid a long time ago, years ago.
Again WHERE are my parts?

To all on this forum, I'm sorry to bring this here but everyone should know before they order anything from this company. My money was paid up front.

My view is that grievances with organisations should be addressed to them directly first. In this case the main issue is that people could not get a response from FOA, so I kept this thread open whilst we worked in the background to contact Loic through a third party to give him the opportunity to respond - as that seemed like the fair way of handling things.

Now that Loic has responded, I think this topic has run its course. I certainly would not expect, nor want, Loic to provide support via this forum.

Thanks to Allan for raising this topic and establishing that the best way to contact Field of Armor directly is via Facebook Messenger.
I appreciate that not everyone uses or even likes Facebook, but that is Field of Armor's choice.

Thank you Kian for allowing me to answer on your forum. Communication is key. FOA emails were down in Aug/Sep 2019. They are now fully functional. Mr. Carr issues are dated back to 2015 and I see no communications since... I sent an email to inquire about any pending issue

I Also THANK YOU for allowing this to be started. I, after many years have received an email from Loic. I will pm you as to how this goes. I do not do facebook. As stated above I'm still waiting for needed parts to finish my Tiger Tank that I bought from him. Last conversion with him was by phone, I called him. For a long period of time I have called and emailed him. At that time he was delayed by his cutter due to smell created by cutting the wood needed for the turret bottom. I have waited and waited to hear from him or receive parts. I still have the same email, same phone number and same address.

I have not posted on this site about this till the thread was started by someone else. I just want what I paid for.
I hope and Pray that this is the last time I will have to post about this.

If Loic is really planning to close all open cases I foresee a lot of work for him, given the amount of buzz surrounding the company, but I do welcome it.

My contact information has not changed either, so I am looking forward to hearing from him. With solutions of course, not excuses. ;-)
