Cables

Post by Stewart Ashton »

My hat is off to all the guys that have modified the various componants
of the 88 :)

One thing that has not been dealt with is how to add the cables to the
drums. Whilst in a well known DIY store the other week I noticed a
pack of what I would call earth sleaving. Not green and yellow but a
lovely brown.

Five metres in length, 3mm in width and just right for the job.

I super glued and wound it on to the drum.. Half full but looks just right.

To make a connector on the end I used one of those brass screwy things
that I used to use to connect the motherboards to the PC case.

Perfic fit and looks great.

Hi Stewart,
are you sure that the color blue is correct?
It seems too hard, but maybe I am wrong

The true colour was probably black but as yet I have not found one
that looks right so at least blue is pretty for the time being :D
