The Historic World War One Aerodrome at Stow Maries, near Maldon, Essex, is holding a Large Model Show on Saturday and Sunday 14/15th September.
Camping is available on site, water will also be available from taps but no electricity, and Portaloos will also be available.
The 'main attraction' will be flying large scale aircraft as seen in my Flying Legends post, 1/3 and 1/4 scale aircraft. The guy co-ordinating the event with Stow Maries showed his 1/3 scale Focke-Wulf 190D-9, but it won't be flying as it is as yet unfinished.
If anyone wants to bring along their tanks please let me know, also if you have any questions I will try to get them answered.
Stow Maries is reasonable accessible from the A12 (1/4 hour through Danbury) and the A130

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
