Are there any dashboard decals available?

Post by Stewart Ashton »

I found a very nice looking dashboard the other day with lovely detail. This was at,
http://www.offiler.demon.co.uk/sdkfz7/i ... pit_tn.jpg

But its far to small for me to work out the real detail!

Gawdy I wish I was forty years younger again

Dave Offiler joined the Forum last month so it might be worth dropping him a PM and seeing if he can suggest reference sites of books.

Adrian.

Hi Stewart
Dave offiler has a realy good blog on his build and in it he said
he scaned the detail from the war and peace book on the sdkfz 7
and fiddled with it in photo shop and printed the dials out.
This looks to be the way to go and its a realy good site and a realy good book.
his blog is
http://www.offiler.demon.co.uk/sdkfz7/

I would say that all the info you need can be found here also on Paul Willis
web site.

Hope that helps

Derek :)

Thanks Adrian and Derek.

He has done a great job using photo shop.

Ive asked John Ivory for one of his decal sets for the GREIF
which has a couple of good looking dials.
