Elefant at Bovington
Elefant at Bovington
Does anyone know if the Elefant is still on display at Bovington? A work colleague told me today that he thought it had left to return to the USA.

Finally made it back to Bovington today for the first time since 1975 to catch the Elefant. Splendid collection of armour I didn't manage to find the Sdkfz 251, has it gone?

Hi Phil,
I can't say where it will be in another 43 years, but If you get a chance to go back again sooner, the 251 has moved out of the main museum for the moment and was last seen tucked away in the Vehicle Conservation Centre, opposite end to the viewing gallery.
