hello all,
please have a look at my latest finished armortek model, the mighty Ferdinand, a pleasure to build for the Wheatcroft collection, big plus on this model is all the space inside for the option packs, deciding to change the elefant in to the Ferdinand model it was apparent the amount of changes I had to make, not just the tools layout and removing the mg mount , biggest changes were the roof and engine deck, hope you enjoy,

it does look great though I have to question why the Tiger II tracks all ferdinand were converted before Tiger II came into existence,.

thank you for the comments,
the beauty of these models is that you can envisage in your own mind what the vehicles would/could have looked like, in my past builds I like to add details that might not be historically correct but i just like what it looks like, i have never seen a picture of a ferd/elefant with any extra side armour added, but i hope from this build you like what i have done,

A fantastic model there Chris - you should be very proud of it. I think its great that people build these models how they want them to be, despite the hand wringing of the "experts".
