<t>I have followed all the instructions to set up the sound function.
I have pressed the button on the soundcard and got the bleep for setup, I have centred the sticks throttled up slightly flicked the toggle switch and get no sound at all. The only sound I have got out of the speakers so far is a millisecond of start-up sound and strangely enough it comes from the two-way toggle switch A (Spektrum Dx6e).
Am I missing something? I've tried to set it up on a 3 way switch to no avail.
All help gratefully received.
Re: David help still can't get sound
Hi Dave.
basic, Have you got the Input lead from the receiver going to Input 6 on the Audio Module,
I'm using a Planet 7. My 3 position switch is Channel, so I have the CH7 lead going to Input 6 on the audio Module. It worked in reverse for my Panzer III. I had to select the sound by toggling AWAY, then TOWARDS me to activate.
It now works the other way, as described in the instructions, because I found the Reverse switch for Channel 7.
So have you tried operating the switching the other way round? i.e. pushing away three times before pulling towards you to activate the sound etc?
You are using a DX6e, does it have a multi model memory? If so you may have to look into the model set up menus.
You aren't alone, I'm trying to decipher what is meant by 'module 1' and 'module 2' in my Panzer II motion instructions.
Pete

Re: David help still can't get sound
I regret to say I think this might be more complicated.
Which channel on the receiver have you connected to the Audio Module ?
If you have used Gear, by default this is assigned to Switch A on the transmitter, so might explain why it reacted to that switch.
If you have used the Gear channel, move this connection to AUX1 on the receiver instead, as this should work with Switch D on the front of the transmitter, which is a 3 way switch as needed by the Audio Module.
Adrian.

I now have sounds following the above advice on top of that I can get gun flash and recoil which I couldn't get before.
So to sum up you have helped me to get gun elevation and sounds.
I reckon Kian should commission you to write a manual which would be an amazing help for newbies Lol.
Once again thanks for your hel

I am very happy that you have managed to get the RC to finally work. The thing is that every time I see these type of pleas for help I get more and more worried about this stage of the build.
Vince
p.s. David, is these any chance of showing us some photos of your finished Tiger?

Hi Vince,
Don't be too scared about the electronics,as you can see, there are some great blokes willing to help and offer advice.
I won't be posting any pics anytime soon because I have loads to do yet I said that I have assembled it but that was loosely
speaking. There is still loads to do which you can't do until you make sure all your electronics are working by bench testing and then
you will have a good idea where all your wiring and connections have to go, then you can install your drive motors, turret turn, gun elevation, recoil etc.
