My choice...

The next one!

They can't do a bad one! So what does it matter? Every one is better than the last!

Hi All,

Just pondering this, although the piggy bank is empty at the moment which makes me feel guilty suggesting anything and the Sd Kfz 251 is still in it’s box, so:-

• Universal Carrier: Bren or Carden-Loyd Carrier.
• One or all of the Stuart’s M3A1, M5, M5A1, used through to the end of the war.
• Scammel Pioneer R100, Recover and/or as Gun tractor. Then we could have a 7.2 inch to tow?
• AEC Matador (to carry the Bailey Bridge sections).
• GMC CCKW 353 open cab.

May have to down size to 12 volt to fit the space availability.

But I think the wind is blowing toward a Chieftain

Mark.

I like the idea of the Scammel Pioneer as this provides plenty of opportunity for adding a lot of additional detail and working with other material such as wood for the rear panels.

Regards

Dave

Not a tank, but how about a functional Schwimmwagen! You'd need to make the tub out of press steel to get it to float and then you'd need to work out the dual control for the drop-down propeller but it shouldn't be too difficult. Imagine a big swimming pool at Tankfest full of 1/6th scale schwimmers!

Hello Pete!

Yes, a Schwimmwagen VW Typ 166 would be awesome!

Beautiful would be the models in different stages of construction. Many people change the models as well as their ideas or according to template.
Example for stage of construction: only the vehicle body with suspension and steering.

Greetings from Germany

Michael

How about something a bit smaller (and cheaper). Universal carrier, Renault FT 31, Whippet light tank.
