Hello! Armortek Owners,my name is Willie and i'm waiting for the arrival of my first armortek kit the sdkfz 173.As this will be my first attempt at anything this massive and RC i'm sure i'll have many questions, hopefully most of them not stupid. But even if they are i'll ask them anyway. This is also my first post and I have no idea if i'm doing this right, guess i'll find out when i hit the submit button.Hope my tank comes out half as nice as the many outstanding models that fill the gallery.

Hi Rick,

In the "Our Town Hobby Show" in Newcastle on 23 August, I have seen your new Jagdpanther. It's a great tank, and you have done a great work so far!

Dale's said that you have got a Tiger-1 as well, but was unable to show her that day, due to some reason.

I don't think I have seen it on web before. Would it be possible for you to show her to me (maybe for others too) ? Thanks!

Tiger 1 photos

Post by Rick Jensen »

Hi Chang

My Tiger can be seen on the forum listed under the "Tiger 1" heading. If you open that section and then go to page 2 you will see a heading "Rick jensens Tiger" my friend Dale posted it for me when I was away at my farm. At that stage the tank was not as equipped as it is now. Also the tracks have received their first coats of paint and the body has started to be weathered. If you send me your email address I am happy to send you some new photos as the tank is today. I was working on it yesterday and I have done some new mods to it so you can be the first to see them. I have decided to make my Tiger a North African variant that was used in Tunisia against Australian troops in 1942 to give it providence that Australians did fight against Tigers in WWII. If you would like my mobile phone number is 0438 190 199 and you can call me at any time should you wish to see or discuss Armortek tanks with me.

Best regards

Rick Jensen
