Hi all
I get a zine aluminium track link which total fit Armortek panzer 3.
Will base on this track link and make more improvements. Then will made of steel.
It take time, but finally will come out. The following is the video if test run.
The original pin of Armortek is totally fit with.
And here are some pics.
People have interest please put your name here, not thro PM.
Cheers

Re: Panzer 3 upgraded track link
Hi all,
Vincent kindly asked me to have a go on his Panzer III/IV links the same way as I did on the Late Tiger I and Panther links.
The link is quite good as it is, in fact one of the better ones I have ever seen for any Panzer but still can be made even better.
The link code is KGS61/400/120, type 3A.
One of the most common type and used on Panzer III/IV and Stug.
I used this one found on the net as template for the link.
Coded "CKC" as was Deutche Eisenwerke AG, Mullheim an der Ruhr.

What need to be done was the letters/number and some addings (green+white) and removing (red).

No big deal but time consuming......
Well here is the end result:

And now they will de sent to Hong Kong for Vincent to do his magic.
One last thing....please note that the links fit the Armortek Panzer III as Vincent showed.
If they fit the Armortek Panzer IV or their Stug I dont know.
What I know from my own experience is that they sadly dont fit the Spearhead/Blitzkrieg Panzer IV.
The sprocket is to wide.
Kind regards
Kent

Re: Panzer 3 upgraded track link
will you also carry the crown of the steel wheel?
probably the steel track, you "eat" the driving wheel.
depends on the price but I might be interested in a set for my PZIII.

Re: Panzer 3 upgraded track link
The track link will be casted of manganese steel . Only 10 sets available...680 pounds per set including 200 track links with pins, no collar. not including shipping. Shipping around the world is under 220 pounds.

Re: Panzer 3 upgraded track link
Hi guys, here are a few pix of my late version or 'improved' Panzer III or Stug III track link which has a solid guide horn and chevrons, which is the same kind as supplied by Armortek. The early style had the hollow type guide horn and no chevrons, although i have seen some with chevons as well.
I have been struggling to find a good source for this kind of info about German tank tracks .
I think the codes are 2110 - MS or SW and gum or 9um.
Kent, can you identify this type?
I also have a 1941 Panzer II link which i am told came off a Wespe and i have a Panther link as well.
Cheers
Tim
