A cannon for the Tigers please.

Post by Phil Woollard »

Would Armortek consider producing a cannon for the inside of the Tiger turret?
I would like to add this detailing to all my Tigers. I'm sure a batch would sell like hot cakes. I will order Three right now!

If anyone else would like to adorn the inside of their Tiger 1 and Tiger 2 and of course the Panther turrets with a beautiful all metal cannon supplied by Armortek please express an interest here for the management to see :D :D

I was thinking of the whole 88 mm masterpiece, lock stock and barrel, as I have said before the Tigers and Panther were designed to haul these things around. Without the gun they would not have existed in the iconic form that we know and admire.
We could have a kit that included just a basic breach (keep the cost down), a kit that had all the bells and whistles breach, trunnions, barrel, sights the lot, I think it would look good on a mount in my study let alone in the vehicle. 8)

Excellent idea Tim, if you consider just how much you get in say the 25 pounder kit for a very reasonable price, then maybe a 88 or a 75 mm cannon with no wheels and no large carriage to speak of may come in at sub ÂŁ500. :D fingers crossed. Any thoughts from the bosses? :)

I must admit, I thought this would be a damned good idea and get plenty of interest.

At least we know 2 panthers and 1 tiger would be looking good.
Cheers
