2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY

Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

The future

Post by Armortek »

The same high quality, authenticity, dedication and customer care, (but) under new ownership. Welcome to Armortek phase II.

From the 1st of June, Armortek will be under new ownership - after nearly 11 years of running Armortek from Devon, Gill and Mark are handing the company over to the new owners Monique and Kian.

We are very excited to continue the company in the same vein and move forwards with some exciting new models. In fact, this weekend we will be launching a new Kompact Kit model and later on in the month (at Tankfest) we will announce pre-orders for a very special limited edition Armortek kit. Keep a close eye on our website and Facebook page for updates on this!

Over the next week and a half the company will be relocating from its current home to Otterbourne, just South of Winchester in Hampshire, UK. Our contact details (phone number and email address) will remain the same, but it may take a while to respond to queries during this time. Again, look out on Facebook as we provide updates on our move.

We look forward to continuing Gill and Mark's great work and are very pleased that they will continue to have strong input in Armortek's foreseeable future. Meanwhile we hope to meet many of you in person at the upcoming Tankfest in Bovington. Saturday is sold out, but there are still some tickets available for Sunday the 25th of June!

Bravo Monique and Kian. You'll be made very welcome in this special, knowledgeable and friendly worldwide community. Huge relief that Armortek is in safe hands, confidence in continuity with Gill and Mark's further involvement and excitement at what you've announced. It takes a certain courage to acquire your first Armortek model but nothing like as daunting as taking on such an established, much respected and loved enterprise.

Gill and Mark - thank you. You've committed everything to Armortek, time to retrieve your lives. Monique and Kian - good luck, you have the wholehearted support of a customer community stretching from Europe to Asia, Australasia to North and South America.

Good luck and thanks. Looking forward to meeting up at TankFest.

Stephen

Monique and Kian -

Welcome ! And many thanks for taking our passion on. Mark and Gill have been wonderful, and it's great to hear that they'll still be there in the background, but it's good to know that you'll be taking the Armortek brand forward with such enthusiasm.

As Stephen said, we're a dedicated bunch - always friendly, very supportive, just occasionally demanding. Please take all the time you need to get settled in before you start responding to some of the more outrageous demands (Gill will tell you about the hated 'F-word').

I'll certainly look forward to meeting you at Tankfest. But I'm sure we'd all like to know a little more about you when you have the time - nothing personal ! Just an idea of what you can bring to the party, and your thoughts on how the brand can grow under your management.

For me, the main question is if, and how, you can support the existing model range. Many sold models remain unbuilt, waiting for retirement or other good reasons, so there's an ongoing need for motors and add-on packs, as well as breakables like track links. It'd be nice to have some early certainty on this important point.

But, until then, good luck with moving all that heavy machinery !

All best wishes,

Chris

Whilst I am not very active on the Forum, I would like to add my welcome to the new owner Monique and Kian. I look forward to you continuing the fabulous company Mark and Gill have built and can not wait to adding further Armortek models to my growing collection here in the USA.

I look forward to seeing what the limited edition kit is later this month.

Best Regards
Martin

Dear Monique and Kian I think for a professional introduction you should also denominate your full name and may be a picture of the people in charge.
I wish also a great startup and success

I am pleased to hear the company has new owners and will continue to offer my support to the brand if it is required. If my parts are needed it will be a lot easier than Dunkerswell as I will practically drive past the door on my way to work!

Looking forward to what the future brings and maybe just a slightly slower release rate so I can keep up :-)

Best Regards

Hi and welcome to Monique and Kian. It is good to know Armortek is in safe hands and will continue to give us all the good stuff we have got used to from Gill and Mark.
The move came as a bit of a surprise but on the plus side Armortek hq will be 20 minutes shorter drive for me being only 5 hours and 29 mins away instead of 5 hours and 49 mins.
Looking forward to the new announcements this month, got my fingers crossed for a Famo 9 otherwise known as fword.
All the best for the future.
Kevin.

To Gill and Mark,
Many thanks for all the help and advice over the time I have been addicted to Armortek.
It has always been a pleasure to speak to either of you, but my especial thanks to Gill who has always answered my distress calls with humour and encouragement before sorting my problem out double quick. I for one will be sorry to see you go when the time comes.
All the best
Kevin.

I've not been an Armortek owner for long (just under 2 months), it was Gill answering my multiple questions via email last year that was the deciding factor. Monique and Kian, I hope that you are able to continue to provide Armortek with great customer service and response that has made such a successful and enjoyable passion of ours! Good luck to all and keep up the great work.
New to 1/6th scale... (heck I bypassed 1/16th scale...)
Now an owner of an Armortek Panther-A! Currently still in boxes...

Thanks all for the warm welcome and glad to see the journey will be a little easier for some - look forward to welcoming you to visit in due course!

As you may have seen from the pictures on Facebook, the factory relocation from Devon to Hampshire is in full swing - with Mark almost up to his neck in slurry  . We plan on being fully operational again by the 12th June so please bare with us for a few more days !

In the meantime, hope you enjoy our latest Kompact Kit that we are launching on our website tomorrow - shipping will start from the 12th June.
