Will soon be painting the lower hull of my early tiger 1 and am trying to decide on what colour to paint the bottom of the hull. Now on the tiger I'm doing the base coat is Dunkelgelb but I'm wondering if they bothered painting the bottom of the hull in the base coat or just left it in red primer?
Finding conflicting info on the subject so thought I'd ask the question.

He says the bottom of the hull was probably left in primer. It would seem that there isn't a definative answer and probably is the best answer I'm going to get. So red brown it will be then.
Goes along with the rest of this tank business. My Tiger will be the best guess as to correct details.
