Panther gun travel lock and 75mm shell

Post by Dave Dibb (Armorpax) »

Hi All,

The main bits of the Panther gun travel lock are done. Just waiting on 1 critical dimension I forgot when I was at Armortek and then I can properly position the upper section on the pivot tube. Once that's done it just needs welds and Mr Surfacer to blend parts. This will be included with the the Armortek Panther A.

I am also pleased to announce the acquisition of some excellent masters from Mark at Werkstatt-5 including a 75mm Panther shell.

Best regards

Dave

The quality of your work is breathtaking, I cant believe how straight everything is cut and placed with no ragged edges.
Would you be able to supply me with a Tiger 1 barrel lock as the resto's gun sure does wobble when towed on hard ground regards Phil.

Hi Phil,

Sorry Phil, still have to finish the quad parts but had to push this through ready for the Panthers going out.

Once the decks are clear and if there is enough interest I will consider other parts.

Best regards

Hi Phil,

As can be seen in the pics it will pivot but the chain is metal cast and therefore fixed.
