Hi Carl,
Interesting carriage! Do you have any more photographs of this particular piece?
During the research for my 25pdr I encountered numerous welded gun cradles and their welded supports but I have not seen a completely welded carriage! The only other variant carriage variant I have seen is the hinged (and riveted)carriage.

Yep, the 25-pdr is on display all over the place in Australia: RSL clubs, public parks, and in private collections.

This is an interesting example, Carl, where did you photograph it? It is an Australian WW2-vintage all-welded trail, with an Australian welded saddle mounting an Australian barrel with muzzle brake. Although the batch of barrels to fit the muzzle brake were manufactured in 1942, the actual muzzle brake/barrel combination was not mounted onto Australian 25-pdr towed field guns until the 1960s. (The first use of a barrel with muzzle brake in Australian service was on the 'Yeramba' 25-pdr SP of the 1950s.)
