Some pics from a very enjoyable Air Day. Gill, Mark, Denny (who organised it) and Steve attended with models. Denny expressed his view about the pitch we were given and as a result we re-located to prime real estate opposite a huge USAF C-17. Had it rained much more, we'd have had great running ground inside the cathedral-like fuselage. The models attracted a lot of attention, even when the Battle of Britain Flight were flying.
Runners and riders limber up for the race:
Some aircrew enjoyed the tanks....
while some were distracted:
And it rained, not a lot
While some stayed dry
others served Queen and Country
Great day out, thanks Denny, Gill, Mark and Steve.
Stephen

Re: Yeovilton Air Day, 2016
My first time a Yeovilton, was nice to find you all by the C17. Nice to see all the interest in the tanks although the rain made it feel a bit like last Saturday at times! As least it brightened up for both the tanks and the flying things ![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Looks like you had a good time again.
I was forced to spend the day in Peppa Pig Land
A good job Denny has his back turned in Pic2
