Tankfest - 2016

Post by Armortek »

Tankfest - 25th - 26th June 2016
The Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset.

We have had confirmation from the Tank Museum that we have the same position as last year, and a larger pitch, so if the weather behaves it should be an excellent event.

As always we invite customers to join us with their models. The Tank Museum will be sending wristbands and parking passes to you directly this year.

If you would like to join us please email me directly at sales@armortek.co.uk

Please state the model/s you will be bringing, and if you can include your mailing address in the email (even though I will likely have it on file) it will make it easier to pass the information to the museum. You can request additional passes (one per model), please list any additional people that will be joining you. Please also include your vehicle registration no.

It is very important that I receive this information by Friday 27th May as the museum requires the details by the end of May to allow adequate time to send the passes to you. We will not be able to make any additions after this date.

Many thanks - Gill

Hi Chris

Nice idea in principal, however it would not be appropriate for me to add peoples names to a list on a forum which can be seen by the public. Of course anyone who wishes to say they are going is free to post below.

If anyone wants confirmation that I have them on my list, just email me :D

Hi

Everyone should have now received their information packs and passes for Tankfest directly from the museum. If you have not, please email me and let me know.

The packs give all the detailed information about timings etc, again just get in touch if you need any further details.

thanks
Gill

Hi All,

With just two weeks to go a few points to note:

Please read your packs carefully, especially with regards to the arrival and departure times, especially relating to vehicle access on site. We believe the museum will be strictly enforcing these timings.

We will not be taking a generator, if anyone wishes to bring one they may by prior arrangement (we have to notify the museum). They will be subject to checks by an onsite engineer and you must provide a copy of the generators EICR certificate (5) as a minimum, required by BS7671 IEE regulations.

Finally Stephen White has kindly sent a photo with the Armortek site marked for those who are attending for the first time this year.
