Mark IV sponsons swap

Post by Chris Hall »

As I've got one Female built, and one on the stocks, I find myself in the bizarre position of having two complete sets of Male sponsons in the spares box. I'm minded to make a couple up as examples for display purposes, but I certainly don't need two sets ......

Would any of you Male builders like to swap your unwanted Female sponson parts for a spare set of Male parts (very anatomical !). That way you would get a supply of spare parts for your Male, and I would for my Females.

I'm currently going through the instructions and spares box to see what a complete set is ! There are some parts, such as Lewis Guns and pistol ports, which are common to both builds, so they probably won't be available. And I'm excluding general fasteners (bolts and rivets) which I'm sure we all have plenty of - of course, any specific types of fastener unique to each build will be included.

I'm hoping that a handover could be done at an appropriate show to negate postage costs (there's a lot of metal here !).

Any interest ? If so, please shoot me a PM.

Thanks, in hope,

Chris
