That's impressive work Frank. Makes me wonder why I'd doing it all by hand! It seems the latest 3D printing materials technology has advanced to the point where it's robust enough for working parts although I guess it isn't yet strong enough to be functional?

I can think of dozens of Cent parts which would benefit from this technique.

The main problem is to create the stl file from the part. The printing material (filament) is ABS. The 3d process printing temperature is 230 - 250 c°. I am working with 0,09mm layer.
To your question if the material is strong enough or not: You can get different ABS. But in this case I beleve there are not so much strength. I think it works. If a part is broken no problem I can print it again.
And yes: It is a very nice technology and I like to print parts. Printing,assembling and ready.
For example: The turret grenade mounts (EH0429) are perfect parts to detail it.

the tank looks fine! I think the 24V lippo is enough for 30 minutes driving, but the 12V lippo for all the electronic functions, sound and animations could bring limitations

The motor is from Parvalux:
PM63-100 GB12, 24V, 365W ,PB25:1, S3 rating, 184rpm, 17,3 Nm.
I know very heavy but a little bit more than to less power.
