The problem is that the old VTX 40 is no longer made. I will have a look Clive to see whether I have a spare one. If its for the halftrack why not fit an Electronize - the one in your old ht is still going strong!

The VTX has been replaced by the DNO. The DNO is electrically interchangeable with the VTX, except for the expansion connector.
Alternatively check out the Pololu Simple High-Power Motor Controller 24v12
https://www.pololu.com/product/1379
It's very affordable & small and it does the job. No heat sink needed. And you can configure it with a computer to your liking (speed, acceleration etc)

Re: Wanted, 4QD VTX 40 24v
Many thanks chaps, i did see that 4qd have changed there controllers and i was not sure about connecting one VTX unit and one of there new DNO5 units together as i allready have one VTX 40 and the remote control DMR unit, i thought it a better idea to try and have two the same, Thanks Peter for having a look i'll keep my fingers crossed, Thanks for the surgestion Maarten i have not seen those before they do look interesting but the Pololu units dont seem to have a high enough amp rating for using in a tank there advertising 25amp max i am going to need 25amp min or better 30amp min, not to keen on electronize because of the external relays and trying to get them tidy in the tank, good controllers though.
Thanks again

Clive the Electronize does not have external relays although it did have originally. Not sure what model you are working on but the one in the ht works perfectly with your modded running gear .Sorry checked but I seem to have run out of sc's as well.

Re: Wanted, 4QD VTX 40 24v
Hi Clive, from time to time I have a look in the forum since I'm still enjoying my early Tiger 1 build about 10 years ago. Now I read your post and remember an early stupid accident with my controller on left side when I done the wrong connection. Straight away I ordered a new pair of those controllers from Gill and replaced left and right side. The one left from the right side went in my stock just in case. It's now for sale. If you still have an interest.
Best regards and a sunny Sunday from Germany
