Wanted - Centurion MK 5/1 (Aust) for ailing Vietnam Vet surprise b'day present.

Hello,

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me fulfil my Father's dream of owning an Armortek Centurion Tank, before he is no longer with us.

My Father served in the Vietnam war from 1968 to 1969 and had his life saved on many occasions by the Centurion Mark 5/1 (Aust) Tanks, so is really sentimental about them. My Father has declining health now and all he can talk about is the tanks that saved his life. My family would like to surprise him with an Armortek Tank for his 70th Birthday this year.

We would be happy to purchase a second hand one that is still in good working order. I live in Australia but are willing to purchase a Tank from overseas. Preferably we would like it to have all the bells and whistles but would be happy with one without, if need be. If someone has a Centurion but not the Mark 5/1 (Aust) Tank Model, we would be willing to pay extra if someone could modify it for us or tell us how we could do that on our own. Unfortunately being a girl, I'm not very mechanically minded but would be willing to learn just about anything, to fulfill this dream for my Dad.

I will keep my fingers crossed that someone can help us.
