King Tiger for sale

This is an Amortek hybrid.Owned the tank for last 5 years. Detailed tank which comes with sound, motion, blank firing mechanism, smoker unit, radio control, spare tracks and 2 animatronic figures. Professionally painted. The gear box does need to be fixed on the right side otherwise in very good condition . Not mechanically minded. Located in South Ireland. Well, to me it looks like the lower hull is Russian made including gearbox and suspension. The turret is Armortek and the upper hull also looks like Armortek (though the larger hatch above the driver and R.O. is back to front). Tracks look like Armortek alu tracks too.

I know a bit about this vehicle as I did some work on it before. Per is spot on. The front hatck unit is as Per says is wrong way round. I fitted dummy bolts to allow it to be just lifter off for easy access to electrics. The rear deck was also assembled as a single unit to allow easy access. Frront glassis, sides and rear armour are armortekand every thing above. Steve winstone rear turret hatch, lights and jack fitted. I think the track could be armortek but not sure. I also added new detailed brass rear mudguards and periscope details. New tool clamps etc. Armortek blank firer. Armortek turret rotation motor. I believe the sound unit is benedinni as same sounds produced.

A quick look at the wheels and I would be reasonably confident in saying they are Mk1, The clincher would be the hub caps, if the are glued on, definitely.

Wheels and suspension and drive motors are Mark 1, also lower hull. Look at the link I posted earlier and you can see some rebuild photos.

This tank has served me extremely well since I have owned it and has always been reliable apart from the gearbox issue which I have already mentioned. One of the major good points about the tank is the running time of a 12 volt battery. I have brought the tank top military shows and only used 1 battery all day. The tank is a tribute to the work done of it by John and is a smashing tank because of his input. The buyer of this tank will not regret his decision
