New radiators for tiger1

Post by Ivano Costantini »

I'm sorry for my english!
I would like to describe to you radiators in a more detailed way that i realized for my Tiger1. Firstly, the philosophy and the execution of construction are completely different from other reproductions on the market. I reproduced the empty radiators,to create with the motors a real air circulation which is also useful for cooling any electronic devices placed behind them. All measures, with necessary adjustments, have been taken from the site " INFO TIGER1".
To reach a maximum fidelity, the designs have been made with a graphic program and the masters were printed with 3D printer. There were created silicone molds and then we moved to the clonig of the resin master. They used real bolts in various sizes and the engines that can operate at 24v,12v or 6v. The installation is very simple: small changes can be necessary depending on how you built the tank, there must be drilled holes for the bolts and sleeves and parts are glued. Prior to the radiators, each modeller can apply a net or a grid according to their preference. I made the frames in "plastic card"
and cut out real mini radiators. I hope you like.
