Re: Bending the Tiger 1 Turrets
Hi Mick
The Turrets are the last part to go through production, and all is looking good
We have started on the packing and will be working hard to complete everything so that all being well we can commence the deliveries next month.
We will keep you posted on progress.

Re: Bending the Tiger 1 Turrets
Thank you Mark and Gill,
for this lovely video - very much appreciated. It looks so easy and effortless but I guess it´s not the first time for Mark (I can see how he marked the places on the plate).
All I have do now is to find the original German film in archives how they bent the 1:1 turret then I´m happy.
All the best and thanks again,
Per

Re: Bending the Tiger 1 Turrets
Considering that bending machine only uses electric stepping motors not hydraulics to produce a pressure of 20 tons that's pretty impressive.

Re: Bending the Tiger 1 Turrets
Just watched the video. Takes me back 20 years used to manage a factory making fuel tanks. Rolls Royce and land rover specials were all made like this. Some wer automated and some were manual as volumes were so low.
Nice to see the process again.
