Tankmod - arriving and departing!

Post by Armortek »

We now have confirmation for those bringing models to Tankmod of the arrival and departure arrangements.

This only applies to those bringing models, any customers visiting without models please enter through the front of the museum as a visitor.

Arrival times are as follows;

Friday 9th October 2pm - 6pm
Saturday 10th October 7am - 9am

Entry will be through the doors at the back of the Tank Story Hall, you need to enter through the green gate shown below.

Tank museum staff will be on hand to direct and assist.

Due to the numbers and limited space it is going to be extremely busy and therefore please unload your model/models as quickly as possible and park your vehicle as shown below. Signage and museum staff will be there to direct you.

It is most likely that Saturday morning will be much busier than Friday and therefore it would be very helpful if as many of you as are able can bring your models on Friday pm. In order to assist with our planning and as a double check for our 'lists' please can you post below this thread as follows:

Name
Arrival Day - Friday or Saturday
Model/models being brought

The event closes at 4.30pm and all models must stay in place until this time. It is inevitably going to be extremely busy with everyone trying to leave at the same time and we ask for your patience and good humour at this time. :D

I will be posting again with regards to other aspects of the weekend including Sunday's arrangement and passes for Tankmod so keep watching.

many thanks
Gill
