Nice to meet up. Good event apart from the weather on Sunday, but we survived and were able to pack up in the dry. Not too many repairs for me to do, makes a change !!!

Hi Adrian,

Yes I am glad YOU did that although I have been given a bit of homework to do for him. Had to do a bit of work on Jim's Tiger but not too stressing. For some reason his keeps blowing 40 amp fuses on the speed controller but we can't narrow down why, as sometimes it will run for quite a distance then it blew 2 just loading it into his van.
Yes an interesting event but unfortunately not too well attended by the public either due to poor advertising or poor signage to the event and also the weather yesterday as it rained from three o'clock in the morning till three o'clock in the afternoon. On Saturday we had an interesting battle re-enactment with the model fliers and pyro explosions, the last explosion had to be seen to be believed even scorched the underside of the model aircraft that flew over at low level supposedly dropping the bomb that killed 2 of our tanks.

:D :roll: :shock: yes , and the talcam powder smells nice, still has the now and again miss fire,did'nt manage to shoot down any of the typhoons 7 in number at spitfire day, must go to spec savers (before you say it).....denny.
