Power supply unit fuses

Post by Kevin Hunter »

Hi. I wonder if anyone can please advise on the fuses in the PS module, I think I've popped one (amplifier). I've not had a chance to take the cover of the module yet. Are they special types, or commonly available?
Thanks
Kevin

They're the standard blade fuse as found in cars.

There's also a mini blade fuse. Which, as you can imagine, doesn't fit. BTDT :oops: :roll:

According to the module instructions, they should be:

Smoke Unit -> 5 amp
Amplifier Module -> 5 amp
Auxiliary Module -> 20 amp
Speed Control Module -> 30 amp

You should be able to see if the fuse has blown as the little red LED between the spade connectors will be off when the Power Supply Module is switched on.
