Re: The mass rivet is underway!!!
A few of the bits riveted before getting some paint and being reassembled. Around 1143 rivets in this picture.

Don't know if I'll get a full check, just had a quick tot up on those sections out of interest. What's really needed is a 'Rivet Counter' - for those who remember Mark Lawson!!!!

Re: No. 034
Now that's something to aspire to - both the working tank and the garden trials area !
Do you know how long it took you to build ? I'm up to 56 hours already, but this is my first Armortek job ........
Congratulations on your new toy,
Chris

Re: No. 034
The photos of your Tank really show how the lighter shade of brown tones in with the freshly turned soil. It makes you stop and think about the reality.
Good to see your Tank in its finished state, I look forward to seeing it at an event!
All the best, Steve

Re: No. 034
Chris,
I can't really say how many hours as I've long since stopped keeping a check when building these models. I would probably guesstimate around 150 hours over a 3 month period. I know it took the best part of 3-4 weeks to do the rivetting as I think there are around 1800 all riveted in apart from a few where screws were used as access may be required and there's a limit as to how many I can rivet in a single sitting without going stir crazy!!!!
