Am building a 1/35th scale model of the Faun Tank Transporter to start with and then hoping to build a 1/6th scale model. Should be pretty impressive I think.

Nice project Dennis!.I think if I was doing a modern transporter, I would have done the Scammell that wasn't picked by UK forces .Much nicer than the oshkosh.i hope you are going to do a build blog for this one too

If you build the tractor and trailer in 1/6 scale this will be 3.65 meters long the tractor being 1.47 meters and trailer 2.18 meters this will truly be a large impressive vehicle you just need a 1/6 scale Leopard to finish it off and at the moment there are none commercially available.

It will probably take a while and perhaps Mark might do one by then. I did look at the Scammel but I think it would be a more complicated build

I would definitely buy the Chieftain!.I would have to do it in the Berlin Brigade camouflage.Probably be a nightmare to paint .We have a real Chieftain in storage at work to copy off
