I have a Tiger 1 Early model kit, the first Tiger 1 offered by Armortek for sale. It has been under construction on my behalf by Pete Fertl in Chicago, IL., USA for some years, along with his many projects. It has some very special accuracy upgrades performed exclusively by Pete, i.e., road wheel modifications, turret modifications, replacement aluminum rear deck, lowered rear deck, Hull floor-panniers’-swing arm plating, and more. The man is passionate re accuracy of detail, as many of you are aware. I chose the right man for the job! This is one special build, Pete being extraordinarily passionate re build quality and detail accuracy, along with very reasonable labor charges.
USA interested buyers take note: the asking price for this kit, mostly built with amazing detail and accuracy improvements and outstanding build quality is just slightly more than the current price of the Armortek Tiger 1 kit unbuilt new in the box. You would save a significant amount of shipping cost as well. Also, you have the option to take over the build and finance the cost over some months, making it more affordable than a new kit purchase.
If you want to add option pacs, Pete and his assistant have the abilities to bring the build up to running status, so those lacking the building skills or time have the chance to participate in the hobby.
The Early Tiger 1's were the most menacing and heavily photographed, the participants in most of the heaviest fighting of the war, including the famous Kursk tank battles. The dished road wheels, drum cupola, turret shape and details of the historic tank are captured in this build. Anyone who is passionate regarding the Tiger 1 would be thrilled with this Tiger 1 build. It will be amongst the finest 1/6th kits when finished.
Detail part upgrades include Pete Fertls’ absolute gem Barrel & muzzle brake part, a small work of art in itself.
I have Vince Abbott's highly detailed Early cupola replacement, and his excellent Front Sprockets replacements, as well as a large variety of his detail parts, including the Escape hatch, Rear tool box set, Solid Steel Replacement Swing Arms (Set of 16), Rear Deck Replacement Coolant / Fuel Caps, Exhaust Shroud set and many more smaller detail parts.
From Mike Standard, I have his excellent Front and Rear mudguards, and his Turret Storage Bin [both built by Mike], and 6 working [!] prism set.
No smoke, turret traverse, gun recoil, or running motors sets.

Re: Tiger 1 Early version for sale USA
For the sake of complete accuracy, the Early Tiger 1 with the drum cupola, which was released in 2005, was the second Tiger kit offered by Armortek. The first production run was of a Mid Tiger, in 2003.
It sounds like it will be up there with the best of them, once completed
Adrian.

Hi Ron.
Can I ask you a question?
Do you have the Tiger already at home or is he still at Pete
Best regards,
Chris
