Re: Transmiters
Jeff has one for sale:

Other than that, seems like a problem with supply.

Re: Transmiters
Kings Lynn models and Steve Webb models always advertise them. I would be very surprised if the latter dont have them in stock. There were several new ones advertised on Evilbay when I looked for someone this week.

Re: Transmiters
Hi Lee
Yes the Spectrum DX8 works fine, as does the DX6 and the DX7. Additionally any Futaba radio on 2.4ghz using the FASST system works. The critical thing is the transmission frame rate. This must be 75Hz for the Armortek modules to correctly function.

Re: Transmiters
Hi Lee,
I have been using a Spectrum DX 8 with my Tiger for several years now with no problems, the main advantage being it has fail safe on all channels and also each model is bound individually so if you use more than one model on TX and accidentally leave one turned on then the other model can be controlled without affecting the 2nd one.
Dennis.

Re: Transmiters
Hi Lee
This seems to have been the case for a while even at the large model shows.
I raised this after wings and wheels as it seems that Futaba are pushing their
other system that wont work with the Armortek units.
I find it strange you cant find the spectrum though as horizon hobbies bring them in
to the UK in bulk and most traders have them at the shows.

Re: Transmiters
Hi Derek,
I heard on the RC grapevine the other day that there is a possibility of Horizon moving their distribution from UK to Germany, not confirmed though. It would be a shame if so because their customer service in the UK is excellent.
Dennis.
