Stuart Humphrey

Post by Armortek »

It was with great sadness and indeed shock that we heard the news that Stuart Humphrey has passed away. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and close friends.

Stuart contributed significantly to the growth of the large scale model Tank World. His work running the UK Tank Club is well known, publicizing and supporting the hobby through the UK Tank club forum, at shows and behind the scenes. We last saw Stuart when he visited Armortek last year with a group from the club, he was a great character and will be sadly missed by all involved with the hobby. It was a pleasure to have known him. May he Rest in Peace.

Since I joined the UK Tank club nearly ten years ago, Stuart has always been at the helm. Such a lovely guy, a true Brit.I shall miss his presence at this years summer shows, especially next weekends meeting at Duxford. My deep condolences to his family. RIP big man.

A truly big loss to the hobby we all love, totally eclipsed by the loss to his family and close friends.
Thoughts go out to all.
