Re: Martin's Centurion
Martin, it shows Armortek models don't need extensive modifications to look great
Two comments, the barrel fume extractor is upside down and so are the smoke launcher brackets by the looks of it.
Regards,
Robin

Re: Martin's Centurion
Hi Martin,
well done a very good standard of work, if you are satisfied with the results then that's all that matters. I have enjoyed adding details to my cent but it's by no means a requisite. I fitted fuel tank filler caps and put the retainers in the wrong place but only I know about it so I'm not stressing lol.
I'm still adding bits here and there and that's the great thing about Armortek. You can build it exactly as per the kit, go nuts and make it a virtual copy of an original or just add the touches you feel comfortable with. Plus you can still tinker with it and add bits over time.
I am near Sheffield so not too far away from you if you fancy meeting up to compare notes some time.
Regards,
Mick

Re: Martin's Centurion
Thanks for the kind comments and helpful criticism guys.... as you have realised I am neither an engineer nor historical detail modeller. I just get great pleasure in trying to achieve a straightforward build of Mark's excellent kits. I cut my teeth on a King Tiger (now with another owner)and the iconic MkIV should complete my "set" repreenting the two world wars and into the "modern" era of tank design..
