My Panther's finaly got its base coat on /Gallery pictures

Post by Derek Attree »

Hi Guys,
As the sun was shineing for more than a couple of hours
I today draged her out in to the yard and she finaly got the
base coat on and I think she looks the part.
My mate Keith came to help lug her around and as I have never sprayed anything with a compressor and spray gun he also lent some support as he has sprayed cars.
I hope to get a couple of shots of her at the weekend but in the mean time there are some pictures in my gallery that Gill and Mark have kindly set up for me of the detail bits I have made and my grill inserts that I talked about in an earlier post.

Hope you like

Dale started a comment thread under "Tiger" on your's and Jeff's new gallery additions. So I'm not being redundant, here's the link.

Your Panther is stunning! 8) 8) Great to see it. I love the job you did on the welds.

Great work all the way around.

Hi Tim
Thanks for the coments I must admit I wondered if I would ever
get it painted.
The welds are done with Gripfill a no more nails type of glue which goes in a mastic gun so its quick to run in the groves that I milled round the
ends of the pannels.
Your Panther was my insperation to keep going and I have used the same base colour as you.

Thanks again

Derek,
Great job on your Panther, thanks for adding so many details to your gallery. You've spent a lot of time working on these no doubt. Its good inspiration for those of us still plugging along. I enjoyed your photos and look forward to your choice of camo.
Bob
