Pics of a real 222 for you folks

Post by Paul Cutler »

I recently got a chance to explore the former Littlefield collection at MVTF in California. While my 222 was being shipped to me I took this opportunity to get a close look at their 222, which is called the only running 222 in the world. It's a fully restored and original vehicle, best subject I could find on the planet. The folks at MVTF were very helpful in letting me get these shots and giving me "special access" to the vehicle. All thanks to them, great people out there. Visit MVTF if you can before they close up shop forever, soon!

Was a great learning opportunity. I never realized that those black spars on the front fenders are mechanical turn signals!

Hope these shots help fellow 222 modelers. I know it's a older kit and most are probably built at this point but I only just got mine "brand new" and have a motion pack on the way soon.

Here is the album of 66 pictures.

Enjoy!

Great little shop for a rummage if visiting Berlin. Some books in English. Some are good no matter the language.
