A Mark IV H for me or the 251 with a Pak 40 mounted.
The 251's have so many variations it might be possible to offer a couple
Of armament options.
The 251 also might be more do-able for novice builders like ourselves.

I think it would be a great idea to have conversion kits for the various chassis's that Armortek has already made; like what was done with the Panther a few years ago. The kits would include only the upper superstructure compoenants. Now you could turn your old Tiger-1 into say, a Sturmtiger. But image what you could do with the Panzer-4 chassis? Nashorn, Jadgpanzer-4, Brummbar, Hummel, Wirbelwind and all the Stug variants for example, could come of this. Likewise for the rather prolific,T-34 chassis. Obviously, such kits would be easier for Armortek to produce, and cheaper for their customers to buy than a full model. But on the other side of the fence, Armortek could also put out separate kits with just the chassis compoenants too, Panzer-3, 4, T-34, Sherman, Chech-38 (there's a "next offering" idea right there.). Image the possibilities that can come from those chassis? The other great thing about Chassis Kits is, it's great for scratch-builders (no shortage of those gifted people with the tools and talent on this website). The hardest thing to scratch-build, is the running-gear. Now you could cheaply buy the chassis, and build whatever you want on top of it. Possibilities there, now become endless. I think this arrangement would also help expand Armortek's market-base to those who otherwise could not afford a full-size kit.

I know it may not be the most financially viable option, as I guess tooling cost is going to be similar regardless of size of the model, but I would love to see something small, maybe the next in the line of compact kits?

Something along the lines of a Panzer II Luchs, an M3 Stuart or maybe an M22 Locust or Tetrarch? Something that can fit in the tiny boot of an Abarth 500? Maybe then I could bring something down south with me to drive round! 8)

Cheers,

Alex

Not to encourage too many more German WWII models :P - but I think the 38(t) is a good idea (more rivets though!).
Small, many possible conversions and the possibility of a Kompact Kit Pak 40 stand alone kit or combined as a Marder?

Hi Robin,

Good one! :D 38t would be neat with Marder III Ausf H possibilities.

If not that, I'll throw my vote in again for wishful thinking on a 251 Ausf D. Also lots of possibilities.

best

How about this for a cunning plan,Its got to be a Panther,no major tooling changes, it is certainly a popular afv, would bring loads of new members to the Armortek family, giving plenty of time to develop new kompact kits [Scamell please] and a new major project for Christmas [Churchill please].
