Air brushing extraction

Post by Steve Lewington »

Hi Guys

I have been wanting to post this for some now after all the posts a while back covering airbrushing but with so much going on( house conversion to name but one)I just never seemed to get the time.
Well now things have just about come to an end and I have my workshop back I can post the air brush extraction system I have used for a few years now it’s very simple and works well.
It`s great if you are a bedroom builder.
All you need is a kitchen/bathroom extractor fan twin and earth flex length to suit plug and 4”flexie pipe length to suit.
Place the extractor at the rear of your work put the tumble drier hose out the window and away you go simples.
If you can get hold of a cardboard box big enough for your needs even better cut a hole in the rear of the box just big enough for the extractor this will remove even more paint vapour and what it doesn’t remove a dears itself to the cardboard.
Have a look at my photos and you will see it can be used anywhere I have set up to an exit hole at the top of my shed for the hose.
I also have an extension hose so I can use it anywhere in the workshop.
This system also works well on dust and vapour if you sand or grind ect.
Even though it removes most of the paint vapour please always wear a mask.
I hope some this will be of some use to you guys .
The very best to all

Steve
