I sort out the incorrect lead is the turret sub loom, but where is it ??? Look at the color, on the others yellow and red is +,not here...

Image

Or here, is a difference to the Electrical Schematic with the colors from the cable, blue to red, brown to black on the EC.

Image

The Pins of the Connector are in the right order ???

Or the limit switches is damage ??? How can Ido to found it out ???

Holger, could you possibly edit your pictures to be smaller (for instance 800x600), as it is very difficult to see your wiring with the pictures so large.

Imageshack may have a way to do it automtically - I know PhotBucket has.

The schematic at:

http://www.armortek.co.uk/gallery/main. ... temId=6581

certainly shows the blue going to red and yellow going to black for the turret moter. If the motor is the wrong way round, it should just turn the wrong way, not cause a fuse to blow.

Looking at your main connector, you have:

White Blue
Yellow Blue
Brown RED
Blue White

Mauve WHITE
Green Red
Red Red

Whereas the schematic mentioned above shows:

White Blue
Yellow Blue
Brown WHITE
Blue White

Mauve RED
Green Red
Red Red

So it looks to me as though the Brown and Mauve wires have been crossed over, but I would trace each wire individually to make sure the schematic has been followed correctly.

Adrian.

Hello Holger

I am not sure quite how, but you have a completely incorrect turret sub loom, wrong wiring, wrong connectors. Please return it to us for replacement. Please also note that the turret turn motor does not plug into the connector on this loom as you have it. As Adrian says, some smaller pictures would make life much easier. I would not recommend continuing as you are, you may cause permanent damage to the power supply. Please contact us directly by e-mail

Hi guys,

Although I am not a Tiger owner ( :( ) I hope that it is allowed to post an observation anyway.
It looks like the connections to the Electronize switch unit are not in the correct order. The red wires should be on the NC terminal and the black wires on the NO terminal. It is unlikely that this is causing the problem but maybe still worth mentioning

Gentlemen

Holger does have his switch unit wired correctly. Red wires to NO contacts, black wires to NC contacts.

Hi Ad,

In my Assembly Instructions is written : ....connect the red cables to the terminals marked NO and the black cables to the terminals marked NC.

I dont now, normaly, all the Connectors have a one Way to connection, so the only misstake you can do is on the Battery and on the 48B-2W.

Maybe I should just change :( same pins in the Connector or it is the Connector for another modell.

Hi Mark and Holger,

As I said, I am not a Tiger owner. The connections on the 222 and M2 switch units are different then. I should have known looking at the limiter switches on the picture

Holger, I would follow Marks earlier request and return the incorrect wiring loom.
Cheers,

As this thread has developed the solution to my fuse blowing problem has been given, that is I have wired the relay switch unit 46B-2W incorrectly.
The wiring diagram implies a connection order to the relay switch unit, which if I had got my glasses on and looked closely, I would have twigged that order actually required on the unit itself is the opposite way round.to the way the wires are depicted.
So now no blowing fuses! Thank you to all who have contributed and helped me to get it right. Steve

Gentlemn

This thread is now spreading confusion, I am certainly confused by it. I have checked the wiring diagrams for the connections to the switch units. These diagrams are correct. The wiring scheme for these switches does not vary from model to model. I do not think that continuing with a variety of opinions is helping Holger at all. If wiring the switches up differently fixes a problem for a builder, thats great, but what it means is that you have something connected up incorrectly somewhere else.
