Major New Release!

Post by Armortek »

Warhorse to Horsepower

A great deal of interest is being generated by the forthcoming commemoration of the centenary of WW1. The Tank Museum are creating a brand new exhibition 'Warhorse to Horsepower'

(http://www.tankmuseum.org/ixbin/indexpl ... XMENU_=top)

and Armortek are very proud to have been asked to design and manufacture a 1/6th Scale British Mark 1V tank to feature in this hands on display. The model will be on display in the museum from February next year and we are very pleased to take this opportunity to offer a 1/6th Scale kit of this iconic first armoured fighting vehicle.

I knew it had to be! :) I have been preparing my wife with phrases such as 'that is the only other Tank I would get'!

Yes!! At last!!
This will be quite a model with the tracks churning and both cannon moving and firing. The smoker will need lots of volume since it looks like smoke comes out of lots of other places besides the exhaust pipe in the period films!
We're going to need to dig trenches and make lots of mud to run these guys in too.

Martin
Gill said today it would be ready for dispatch in about a year,..... So, you have lets say 10 months to finish building your house, but more importantly build in a display room for your armoured vehicles :D
All the best
Steve
