Smoker question

Post by Steen Vøler »

Hi tankers

I've got the wigitronic smoker but not the benedini smoke regulator for automatic adjustment of the smoke output.

My question is where to best fit the smoker wiring for the fan.

1. direct to the battery with a on-off switch
2. Y-cable attached to one motor servo
3. Y -cable attached to the sound unit
3. Direct on the soundunit Benedini standard smoker interface

thanks
Steen
cheers

Hi Steen.
If conecting Fan to the battery use a switch and an inline fuse 3 or 5 amp maximum.
The regulators are only 12 volt so important that you find out what voltage your fan is,
that was supplied,12 volt or 24 volt.
Best to confirm with Richie Wignal if you are in doubt and dont have the written
instructions or to confirm what has been supplied to you.
But the battery is the place to connect to,none of the others that you said.
Hope that helps
Cheers
Phil

Hi Steen.

It sounds like you need one of my smoker fan control units

These will work with 24V or 12V fans, and connect to the Benedini to link the fan speed to the engine revs.

Adrian.
