Top rear deck square headed bolts

Post by Stephen Mason »

I am slowly adding more detail to my early Tiger 1 and I would like to replace the top deck bolts with the square headed type bolts that I have seen fitted to some Tigers. Does anyone know where these bolts can be obtained from? I think that these are much more scale like in appearance.

Also the engine cover hinges and hinge mountings fitted to the rear deck could be a bit more scale like as well. Is there a supplier of these parts?

I have ordered several other parts from Steve Winstone and am looking forward to fitting these parts. :D

Many thanks
Steve

hello stephen,

try www.armorpax.com, part number AP082-GR. for the square headed bolts, they may do the hinges as well.

Armortek has them

Armortek now sells those bolts as part of their latest Tiger release. I'm sure you can get a set from them if you ask, and are willing to pay, of course.

Gill sent me a link to a message posted earlier in this topic - it lists the bits which are available as upgrades:

It is great the amount of info you can get on this forum. I will be ringing Gill to order a set of these on Monday along with a few other parts that she has got for me. :D Thanks guys. :)

Now while we are on the sublect of where to get what, can anyone tell me where to get a FREE supply of petrol for my car please? It seems to have got a bit pricey lately which is having an effect on how much I can spend on my Tiger so any DONATIONS would be greatly appreciated. I am sure that all fellow Armortek owners will feel sorry for me and dig DEEP into their pockets. I will even supply the Jerry cans. FULL size of course. :D
