Hi Guys

Well the book arrive earlier this week by super fast postage ,well done Historex.
First things first.
John there are only two internal images one of the panzer 111 ausf F/G and the other is of the panzer IV Ausf J neither of which would be of any use to you what you saw on the cover photo was as good as it gets sorry mate.

The book is bi lingual Spanish and English Spanish being the first language with the translation being made via computer so in some of the descriptions grammar is out the window.

There are 72 full coloured pages covering the panzer 1, 11, 38(t), 111, and IV.
Sadly no heavy tanks they must be saving them for volume 11.

Now to the best bit there are I believe a lot of the guys on the forum who do have problems me included with what camouflage paten to use for the various theatres the Germans fought in and what RAL colours to use.
There is a full page of reproduction coloured plates including the corresponding numbers it also gives you the modern names for the old RAL colours.
Almost every page has a coloured plate on it showing top, side, front, and back, what colours were used the RAL number and the percentage of each colour used plus two full pages of unit insignia ,panzer divisions ,panzer grenadier divisions ,Luftwaffe ,waffen ss ,SCH panzerabteilungen waffen ss ,SCH panzerabteilungen herr.
There is also a very short description of each plate shown in Spanish and English.

All in all not a bad book for the money £16.25 and £1.95 P&P lots of good plates for some good ideas on painting.
Sadly no big tanks but hopefully in volume 11.

Would I recommend this book. Yes

I hope this quick review is of some help to some of you.

Regards to all on the forum.

Hi Steve & John.

Steve I saw your post last week and thought I would follow suit and buy a copy as Steve says the book arrived very quickly and was well packed.
The book is really very good in my opinion as Steve says with great colour plates of early war tanks up to the Panzer 4, so in my case really looking forward to the second volume which I will be buying.
All in all 10/10 and good value.

Cheers Paul
