Late Tiger track links

Post by Jim Slothower »

How many individual links should be in each track for the Late Tiger?

I couldnt resist putting something together, so I pulled the tracks out for an afternoon build. I am assuming that some of the links are to be mounted on the turret side. My instruction book is in storage.

Thanks, Jim

Jim:

There are 93 or 94 links per section. It will depend on the individual Tiger and the angle of the suspension arms. Good luck and thank you for your service!!

Hello Rick

It is strongly recomended that you stick to the Book on the suspension angles ie 35 Degrees

Hi Lee

Will do. I was just relating to Jim that, depending upon what he did, the number of track links could vary between 93 and 94 on a late Tiger.

Thanks for watching out for me!

Rick

I am pleased to announce I have completed my tracks. I cant wait till my house is done so I can spend a month just working on this.

Jim so much for waiting !!! Don't worry it happens to us all . I was 1/2 way though the build of my tiger . When I bought a sherman as there where only three left . The plan was to leave it in the boxes until the tiger was finished . Then one day later I thought I would open one of the boxs . two months later it was 1/3 built . Dale.

Dale,

Well I really planned on not even looking in the boxes until I was home for good. I guess I was kidding myself. I got to look at the Mike Standard storage bin and the instruction book. Opened the box with the turret parts in it. You just cant grasp the scale of these without handling them. I have the main box for the hull and the deck I havent looked in yet, but the temptation is getting to great.

I thought one was going to be it to, now I cant say that for certain  I think my best friend has gotten the bug now also, which would be great
