Engine Hatch

Hello

I am looking for some foto's from the backside of the engine hatch. I have several books but not one foto from the backside. Who can help me.

Hi, Good news-bad news. "Tigers in Combat, Vol 2", page 50, has a pretty decent shot of the inside of the hatch plate. I would e-mail a picture of it, but my scanner's not working. I guarantee you though, someone out there will have the book, and can do it for you. But you're right, it's a hard picture to come by, mostly because the hatch opens rear-ward, not laterally like say a Panther's would. Usually, in the rare pictures where it's open, you can only see the top side of it. The other good news is if you're detailing your model there, there's not a lot going on with it. It's pretty much a flat plate with a round hole for the armored vent and a rectangular one for the Fifel air-cleaner intakes. There are some small bolt-like features around the top and side edges though. Not sure what they are(door-latches of some sort perhaps?), but they don't look hard to reproduce.
