My 222
Progress has been slow, but I like to take my time. This is my first Armortek model, built almost entirely on the coffee table. No, not always a popular location choice!

Looks great. What are you using to fill the joints?. I was looking at one recently but thought the gaps might be difficult to fill.

Re: My 222
Hello Nick
Oh yes, there's 222's here that are way out of my league, but it is a great model to work on, and a nice size.
Hi John
The body work is steel, once the overlaps were filed down, I placed the body with loose screws on the glass coffee table top to get a flat 'square' base to ensure alignment, then I glued the joints where they met, screwing it all together tight. The gaps that were left I filled with JB Weld. Once that was all set, I skimmed over the entire body work with Isopon P38, sanded with a sanding block, and repeated several times, as you would with a full size car. It all went together very well.

Great looking 222. I'm starting to like these little armoured cars.
