Re: John's Late Tiger 1
Hi John
Thats a nice long gentle slope up your ramps, nice little vidio.
I had to use blocks behind my Comet aswell as the front,I dont think its because I
accelerate too hard,my little cars only a Honda Jazz, but it slid back even with carpet on
my wooden frame similar to the one you have built.
Regards
Phil

Re: John's Late Tiger 1
Hi John!
Do you secure the tank to the pallet somehow? I don't take my Tiger out in the car much, but when I do, I just put a big bag of styrofoam popcorn in front and back of it that will keep it in a reasonable squeeze. Perhaps something more secure would be a good idea?
Cheers,
/Chris

Re: John's Late Tiger 1
The chopped up pallet was just a quick fix to practice driving in. It is a tight sqeeze. I did fit a couple of blocks at the front and would block up the rear as well. I would only drive like this for short distances. Hope to get a bigger car next year. Although buying tanks does not help. Chris, I like your idea with the foam beans. I have two big bags from Armortek still. The ramps work really well. Very stable. Not as difficult to manage as I expected. Tiger climbs with ease.

Re: John's Late Tiger 1
Been a while since I had a chance to get some time to complete any important parts but I have done some work on a Driver compartment ammo bin. Still need to add one more rack then paint and add the wood rests.
The shape of the pannier is incorrect so the box has been designed to account for this. Size is to scale based on David Byrdens. It accomodates six rounds of Mike Stannards Tiger ammo.

Re: John's Late Tiger 1
Thanks Ray.
Hinges are a pain to find. I bought a good supply as I was making some parts for customers. They are from the states so shipping in small quantities was not practical. On the plus side they are in long lengths so can be cut to size. 9mm wide so great for our scale.

Your Pictures just came through of your Commander and Interior as I replied.
